Jackson Westen earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Iowa in 2021 and his Juris Doctorate from Drake University Law School in 2025 with honors. Jackson has gained experience in the Des Moines area clerking for an intellectual property law firm and interning at an insurance company specializing in pollution liability coverage. While in law school, Jackson served as a member of the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law and also earned the Business Law Certificate.
Prior to joining Frost Echols, Jackson worked at an insurance company where he actively developed corporate counsel and regulatory compliance experience. He worked directly with the CEO and other company officers on a variety of corporate legal matters, regulatory compliance issues, and cross-functional projects.
