Litigation Attorney

Frost Echols, LLC is an established litigation firm that represents clients nationwide in the credit and collection industry but also in general civil litigation practice.

Frost Echols has a challenging and exciting career opportunity for a detail-oriented attorney to assist with case analysis, compliance advice, and litigation, including motion practice, discovery, trials, and appeals. The firm’s ideal candidate will work daily from one of our office locations or remotely with various attorneys. We are looking for someone with strong academic credentials and practical experience in litigation. The position is open to attorneys of various skill levels and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and investigate litigation matters
  • Develop arguments (including researching applicable caselaw)
  • Assist in all phases of litigation including arguing and defending motions, taking and defending depositions, and participation at trial
  • Provide relevant and practical advice to ensure clients comply with applicable laws in an operationally efficient manner
  • Prepare and review motions, briefs, and discovery
  • Report to senior attorneys and clients regarding case status

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proactive mindset with a proven ability to work independently
  • High level of professionalism and outstanding interpersonal skills
  • An active bar license in one or more jurisdiction
  • A willingness to travel and learn
  • A team-player mentality who wants to grow alongside the firm’s litigation attorneys
  • Self-starter who can work independently and take direction
