Jenna Williams

Attorney

Jenna Williams was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and received her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2012. Jenna is licensed to practice law in both North Carolina and South Carolina and currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Jenna began her legal career practicing family law before joining The Echols Firm, LLC (now Frost Echols, LLC) in 2017. Her practice focuses on litigation defense and regulatory compliance, with a particular emphasis on delivering comprehensive compliance counsel to creditors and collection agencies nationwide. She provides targeted guidance on a wide range of federal and state regulatory issues, including compliance with the FDCPA, TCPA, and FCRA. Her work includes defending investigations by the CFPB, FTC, and state regulators; building and evaluating compliance management systems; conducting internal agency audits; reviewing collection notices (mail, email, text); and negotiating/drafting vendor and collection service contracts.

Jenna’s goal is to provide accurate, detail-oriented compliance guidance paired with practical, operationally efficient solutions that align with each client’s business objectives.

Outside of her legal practice, Jenna enjoys traveling, detailed cookie/cake decorating, and running. She also values time with her family and her dog, Reesie – who admittedly runs the household.
